NEDA has an online chat room where you can talk to other young people that might be feeling similar emotions and struggles, this is a great place to meet knew people and talk about some of the issues that you may be suffering from.
We do have a couple of rules in order to help people feel safe and secure when using the chat room, it is very important to respect these rules as it is a place where young people should be able to feel safe to talk about difficult issues.
- Do not intentionally upset any of the other users in the chat room.
- Do not give out identifying information about yourself. (Schools, addresses, last names etc.)
- Please do not bring up serious situations that might need the attention of other organisations. (suicidal thoughts, child abuse, criminal activities etc.) Please check our links page for support in these areas.
- Respect all other users. Do not act unfairly or aggressively towards other users.
