Norfolk EDA Volunteer wins Annual Civic Award!
Hannah, one of our team of dedicated volunteers, has won an Annual Civic Award this year for her volunteer work with us. Hannah has volunteered in the last year for both our Art for All class and our Writing and Spirituality group. On the evening of the 7th May we attended the award ceremony at City Hall, where her award was presented with appropriate pomp and ceremony by the Lord Mayor (see left).
Congratulations, Hannah! Well done from everyone here, and a big thumbs up!
Of course, we have a large team of volunteers at NEDA and they all work very hard. We would not be able to run the organisation without their time and dedication — so a big thank you to you all!
New groups and other services:
Starting Tuesday 8th April 2008, Norfolk EDA will be holding a monthly Photography Group. If you are interested in coming along, please email Diane (Volunteer Co-ordinator).
“Doing something creative” can be very helpful when there’s a lot going on in our heads…so, we are hoping to start a new Creative Writing and Spirituality Group and would welcome your ideas.
The Self-esteem Group has been a great success in Norwich, now we are hoping to take it out to Great Yarmouth as well. Contact Sue (Therapeutic Support Staff) about both of these groups.
