New Art Group!
Our art group is changing this year into an exciting project-based format. The first series of 6 sessions will focus on Butterfly Window, a textile project. The program will start on Wednesday 20th January 2010, from 4:30-6:30, and will run alternate weeks. The cost is £30 or £15 for concessions, including materials. We are pleased to now be able to offer online distance support for those unable to come into the centre. Please email Louise at onlinesupport@norfolkeda.org.uk. Louise will respond on Wednesdays and Sundays between 7:30 and 9:00pm.
Creative Writing Group Anthology Underway!
The Tuesday evening creative writing group is currently putting together an anthology of poems. We hope to publish a small number of booklets soon. Keep checking for updates here.
Norfolk EDA Volunteer wins Annual Civic Award!
Hannah, one of our team of dedicated volunteers, has won an Annual Civic Award this year for her volunteer work with us. Hannah has volunteered in the last year for both our Art for All class and our Writing and Spirituality group. On the evening of the 7th May, 2008 we attended the award ceremony at City Hall, where her award was presented with appropriate pomp and ceremony by the Lord Mayor (see top left).
Congratulations, Hannah! Well done from everyone here, and a big thumbs up!
Of course, we have a large team of volunteers at NEDA and they all work very hard. We would not be able to run the organisation without their time and dedication — so a big thank you to you all!
